Job Specific ContextUNOPS has signed an agreement with Office of Information and Communications Technology (OICT) to support the Enterprise Solutions Service (ESS) to develop and support enterprise solutions which are designed to integrate core systems, processes, and data across all areas of the Organization.
This position will be part of the team which supports Inspira (UN Talent Management System system) and related applications.
Role PurposeUnder the overall supervision of UNOPS Senior Programme Manager, with the guidance and under the supervision of the Senior Information Systems Officer – HR-IT the incumbent will perform the job functions listed in this TOR.
Functions / Key Results Expected- Provides advanced technical architecture support for Inspira, contributing to the design, enhancement, optimization, and maintenance of People Soft modules, customizations, workflows, and related system components.
- Designs and implements AI-enabled solutions for Talent Management, Performance Management, and other Inspira modules, utilizing machine learning, natural language processing, automation, and emerging technologies to improve business processes and user experience.
- Develops, enhances, and maintains complex People Soft components, including People Code, Application Engines, Component Interfaces, and Integration Broker, while performing advanced SQL tuning, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Designs, develops, and supports APIs and system integrations across enterprise platforms, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable data exchange in accordance with established architectural and integration standards.
- Engages with stakeholders, business teams, and technical counterparts to gather, analyze, and validate requirements, and design technical solutions that address complex business needs.
- Designs and implements monitoring tools, dashboards, and performance indicators to proactively monitor and evaluate Inspira system performance and operational effectiveness.
- Reviews and optimizes support and escalation procedures, coordinating technical and business stakeholders to improve operational efficiency, issue resolution, and user satisfaction.
- Performs other duties as may be reasonably required and in line with the incumbent's scope of services above.
