Housekeeper – Terra Bella Senior Living – Roswell, GA
Terra Bella Senior Living is the proud operator of more than 30 communities across the Carolinas, Virginia, Kentucky, Georgia, and Tennessee. Our communities offer Active Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and short‑term Respite Care, serving a total of over 2,200 units.
We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to join our community at Terra Bella Roswell.
Responsibilities- Perform cleaning duties according to schedule (daily, weekly, monthly) in assigned areas such as apartment homes, common areas, lounges, and offices.
- Sweep, dust, mop, and wet mop all floors and stairways; spot clean and vacuum floors, rugs, carpets, and runners. Rotate runners in hallways and entryways.
- Clean, sanitize, and polish lavatories, showrooms, and sink fixtures and facilities; stock dispensers as necessary.
- Scrub bath and shower room tiles, woodwork, window frames, and sills.
- Maintain equipment and materials needed to perform work in a clean and orderly condition.
- Collect trash and refuse from work areas and place in designated pick‑up areas.
- Collect, clean, and redistribute community laundry.
- Maintain the commercial laundry in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition.
- Store and lock cleaning chemicals when not in use.
- Keep cords, carts, equipment, and other hazards out of the way at all times, ensuring exits are not blocked and fire codes are met.
- Report needed repairs and supply or equipment needs to the Lead Housekeeper.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language of the residents.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Demonstrated interest in working with a senior population.
- Interact with guests, residents, and staff in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Team member is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle and reach with hands and arms.
- Team member is frequently required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Team member is occasionally required to sit.
- Team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision and color vision.
