Job Overview
We are hiring for: LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse at a Facility Based Crisis Center in Forsyth, NC. The position is full time, 12‑hour shifts (7P‑7A, 3rd shift) with 24/7/365 coverage. The facility provides short‑term intensive evaluation, treatment, and stabilization for adults 18+ experiencing behavioral, emotional, psychological, detox, or other acute crisis stabilization needs. A $2,500 sign‑on bonus is offered.
Key Responsibilities- Perform nursing assessments and interventions, including medication oversight and administration as needed.
- Document client’s social, psychological, and physical behavior accurately.
- Implement and ensure compliance with nursing practice standards to promote optimal health‑care delivery and regulatory requirements.
- Apply policies, procedures, and confidentiality regulations (HIPAA, national accreditation agencies, and Continuous Quality Improvement) and attend applicable meetings.
- Use state guidelines, the Quality Assurance Plan, and Client Rights Policy to ensure compliance with state regulations; update plans and policies as necessary.
- Handle supervisory duties: interview candidates, recommend hires, train staff, plan, assign, and direct work, appraise performance, motivate, discipline, promote teamwork, address complaints, and resolve problems.
- Active and current LPN license in the state of employment.
- At least two years of nursing experience working with behavioral health clients.
- Working knowledge of psychoactive substance abuse, dependency, and evidence‑based treatment principles.
- Valid driver’s license and automotive insurance required.
- Pre‑employment screening: complete criminal background check, name‑check in relevant registries, drug testing, education verification, and proof of employment history or references if required.
- If transportation is required: proof of driver’s license, insurance, and vehicle.
