Wellstar Kennestone Hospital , we're seeking experienced, compassionate Registered Nurses to join our
Medical Specialties
team. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we'd love to have you on our team.
What You'll Do- Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, case managers, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and their families to support positive health outcomes.
- Utilize critical thinking and evidence-based practices to guide clinical decision-making.
- Accurately document patient care in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and service excellence.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, shared governance, and ongoing professional development.
- Serve as a mentor or preceptor as opportunities arise.
- Required
Education:
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Required Experience:
Minimum of one (1) year of recent, relevant Registered Nurse experience in an acute care setting. - Required Licensure &
Certifications:
Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or eligibility through the Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) required. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- ACLS preferred.
