Part-Time Night Shift RN - NICU

Role:
Registered Nurse (RN) in the NICU, providing high-quality, patient-centered care on a part-time night shift.

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practices.
• Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive care tailored to patient needs and involve families and significant others in care planning.
• Coordinate safe, quality care through interdisciplinary communication, timely documentation, and fostering a respectful environment.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, research, and shared governance to enhance patient outcomes.
• Mentor and serve as a preceptor for colleagues and students, supporting professional development.
• Promote evidence-based practice, adhere to organizational policies, and contribute to protocol development.
• Plan proactively for patient care across the continuum, optimizing resource use and safety standards.

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred)
• Valid RN license (single-state or multi-state compact)
• Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care experience
• Current BLS and NRP certifications, with instructor and provisional certifications as required
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, teamwork, communication, and leadership skills
