RN Infusion Oncology

Role: The RN Oncology Infusion Therapy Clinician provides specialized nursing care in an outpatient infusion setting, administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies for malignant and nonmalignant conditions.

• Performing comprehensive assessments, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient-centered care based on evidence-based practices.
• Ensuring safe administration of hazardous drugs and complex therapies while addressing biological, emotional, developmental, psychosocial, and educational needs.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, documenting care, and supporting performance improvement initiatives.
• Serving as a resource, preceptor, and mentor to staff and students, and participating in ongoing education and professional development.
• Promoting evidence-based practice, research, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
• Supporting protocols development, resource management, and quality outcomes.

• Current nursing license and adherence to professional standards.
• Knowledge of oncology infusion therapy, including chemotherapy and targeted treatments.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and cultural competence.
• Ability to work collaboratively, serve as a preceptor, and engage in continuous learning.
• Commitment to safety, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.
