Role Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department provides high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team. They perform the nursing process, utilizing evidence-based practices, and ensure individualized care tailored to diverse patient populations. The RN collaborates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, promoting communication, teamwork, and performance improvement initiatives. They serve as mentors, support professional development, and uphold clinical standards aligned with regulatory and organizational policies.

The role involves resource planning, protocol development, and participation in research activities to enhance patient outcomes.

• Associates or Bachelor's Nursing degree
• Valid RN license (single-state or multi-state compact)
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, PALS, TNCC, ACLS (required upon hire)
• Minimum 2 years RN experience
• Strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and teamwork skills
• Ability to function effectively in fast-paced, emergency settings
