RN - Acute Care - Orthopedic Surgery - Weekend Night

Role: Provides comprehensive nursing care in an acute care setting, focusing on orthopedic surgical patients during weekend night shifts.

• Performs the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices.
• Delivers patient-centered care tailored to individual and cultural needs, fostering partnership with patients and families.
• Ensures safe, quality care through effective documentation and interdisciplinary communication.
• Participates in performance improvement, research activities, and supports shared governance.
• Serves as a preceptor or mentor to promote professional development and team growth.
• Maintains compliance with organizational policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Contributes to protocol development and resource management for optimal patient outcomes.

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in acute or surgical care.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
