RN Charge Nurse – Acute Care Cardiac Telemetry – Day Shift

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Charge Nurse leads and manages daily unit operations in an acute care cardiac telemetry setting, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care.

• Oversees staff, assigns patients, and manages unit workflow, including bed assignments and resource planning.
• Rounds on patients to evaluate care quality and implements corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and management to coordinate care and optimize outcomes.
• Supports performance improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice, and research activities.
• Mentors and precepts new staff and promotes professional development.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and maintains a safe, respectful work environment.

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing required;
  Bachelor’s preferred.
• Valid RN license, with multi-state license preferred.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS (or equivalent) required upon hire.
• Strong clinical expertise, leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage resources, prioritize tasks, and foster interdisciplinary collaboration.
