RN – Acute Care – Ortho Surgical Weekend – Night

This position involves providing compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in an acute care orthopedic surgical setting. The RN will perform the nursing process, ensuring individualized care using evidence-based practices, and collaborate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, emphasizing clinical standards and cultural diversity.
• Partner with patients and significant others through communication methods like bedside reports and teaching to align care with patient goals.
• Coordinate safe, high-quality care and documentation, fostering teamwork and respectful, inclusive environments.
• Participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance activities to enhance patient outcomes.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor, support professional development, and uphold organizational policies and safety standards.
• Promote evidence-based practice, contribute to resource development, and engage in data collection for continuous improvement.

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Current RN license (single or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with direct patient care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills.
