About the role

The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring a steady supply of qualified suppliers and manufacturers for the organization. This role involves assessing the capability of suppliers to meet service requirements and enhancing their performance through data analysis and quality control methodologies.

What you'll do
  • Perform initial and ongoing evaluations of suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Analyze supplier performance data and implement quality control measures to enhance service delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to supplier quality processes and performance metrics.
  • Conduct audits and assessments of suppliers to verify adherence to established quality protocols.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in supplier quality or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and quality control tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice to have
  • Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
  • Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
