OverviewEZCORP is seeking a Retail Shift Leader (Key Holder) to lead the way today and to step into greater roles tomorrow. As a Retail Shift Leader, you will provide outstanding customer service, build solid relationships with customers, promote sales, and make deals for a wide variety of pawn items. You will also officiate opening and closing store procedures and supervise and coach store team members.
The role offers a structured career path with a 5‑week paid training program that leads to a $.50 raise and transition to Lead Pawnbroker, as well as a 6‑month training program for an Assistant Manager position.
- Provide outstanding customer service and build solid relationships with customers, promoting sales and making deals for a wide variety of pawn items.
- Process loans and extensions.
- Reach jointly satisfactory terms regarding items to be pawned.
- Perform opening and closing store procedures.
- Supervise and coach store team members.
- Provide a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment that clearly sets EZPAWN apart from competition.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a key holder, shift lead, team lead, or manager role.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Adherence to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and manage customer needs.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, with excellent judgment, time‑management and prioritization skills.
- Knowledge of commonly pawned items such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics (a plus).
- Sales background (a plus).
- Bilingual (a plus).
