Ensures the company’s vehicle and equipment needs are met by performing service, maintenance, and minor repairs to ensure safety and reliability. Duties include inspecting and repairing mechanical components, documenting maintenance activities, applying safety labels, and completing work orders under supervision. The role also assists with equipment refueling, supply management, and supports senior staff on complex projects while reporting safety issues and upholding company standards.

• Maintain accurate records of basic maintenance and repairs performed on equipment.
• Apply and maintain decals, safety warnings, and company  as needed.
• Complete work orders under supervision for internal and external repairs.
• Assist with minor repairs of mechanical equipment.
• Support maintenance of company vehicles.
• Check and refuel equipment as directed.
• Assist senior mechanics with complex repair and maintenance projects.
• Report safety violations to supervisor.

• Experience in the mechanical field preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Prior hydraulic, pneumatic, and/or diesel mechanic experience.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 1+ years of experience in a related area.

Works in a generally comfortable environment but may be exposed to temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes, with some risk of discomfort or accident. Requires intermittent periods of physical activity, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment that may be heavy or awkward.
