Are you an experienced AV Technician ready to take the next step in your career?
We’re looking for a Level 2 Lead AV Technician to lead small installation teams while remaining hands‑on in the field. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring junior technicians, taking ownership of projects, and delivering high‑quality audiovisual installations for enterprise clients.
What You’ll Do- Install, configure, and commission commercial AV and video conferencing systems
- Build equipment racks, terminate and test cabling, and troubleshoot systems
- Lead small installation teams and mentor Level 1 Technicians
- Coordinate daily site activities with Project Managers
- Perform system testing, commissioning, and client walkthroughs
- Maintain high standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
- 4+ years of professional AV installation experience
- Experience leading or mentoring field technicians
- Strong knowledge of commercial AV systems, including:
- Control systems
- Basic networking
- Ability to read AV drawings, cable schedules, and technical documentation
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
- CTS or CTS‑I certification
- Crestron, Extron, Biamp, AMX, or similar manufacturer certifications
- Experience with digital signage, IPTV, or enterprise collaboration platforms
- Previous experience serving as a site lead on commercial AV projects
