QA engineer (Middle Office Transformation)
We are looking for a Senior automated QA Engineer to join the existing product team.
This team focuses on developing cloud‑based software to manage the full life cycle of investments, including trade capture, positions, profit and loss (P&L), performance, and other key aspects.
You will work closely with various trading leads and other senior leaders. This role will be instrumental in advancing our Middle Office transformation initiative by providing our investment teams with a rich, near‑real‑time, and accurate view of trades, positions, P&L, and performance, as well as technology teams with standardized interfaces to access accurate information in a timely manner. We seek an individual with a proven track record for building complex financial systems.

- Build QA processes and define testing strategy from the ground up
- Develop and maintain backend Java auto-tests
- Design and execute test cases based on functional and non‑functional requirements
- Perform functional and integration testing which involves upstream and downstream systems
- Manage and maintain testing environments
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar
- Manual Testing Expertise
: 8+ years of hands‑on experience - Backend Test Automation
: 5+ years of strong experience with Java - Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently and learn complex business domains quickly
- Experience in reading and analyzing logs
- Solid understanding of SDLC and QA practices
- Confident English communication skills (both spoken and written)
- Experience with financial projects
- Experience with Python‑based test automation
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Git Hub, Gitlab)
- Experience with Datadog, Splunk or similar tools
- Experience with Linux
