Delivery Driver

Parts Authority offers immediate career opportunities for Delivery Drivers in our expanding division. Candidates must have excellent customer service skills.

Eligibility:
Applicants must be 21+ and possess a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (Up to 75 lbs for auto body parts collision drivers.)

• Pick up and deliver automotive parts according to assigned routes and schedules.
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Review orders before and after delivery to confirm accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Follow dispatcher directions, route navigation apps, and alternate routes as necessary.
• Assist with loading and unloading at customer locations.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints professionally.
• Maintain a safe driving record and abide by transportation laws.
• Accept payments, prepare invoices and reconcile cash receipts.
• Perform daily maintenance checks on delivery vehicle and report issues.
• Assist with inventory and other warehouse duties as assigned.
• Promote workplace safety and secure cash or other assets.

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Meeting company insurance requirements (drivers 21+).
• Valid automobile insurance with name on policy.
• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 lbs (75 lbs for collision drivers).
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use tablet/mobile for navigation and customer interface.
• Compliant with directions and work well in a team.
• Flexible schedule and overtime availability.
• Previous delivery driving experience a plus.
