Haul Truck Operator - Off Highway

This position operates large off-road vehicles (60-70 ton trucks) to transport raw materials like rock, gravel and sand from the extraction face to crushers or stockpiles. The role requires performing daily safety inspections, adhering to strict MSHA regulations, and maintaining equipment for high volume production.

Core Responsibilities

• Safe Operation - Driving articulated or rigid haul trucks over steep, uneven and rough terrain
• Loading/Dumping - Coordinating with excavator orfront-end loader operators to load materials and dumping them into designated areas, such as crushers or stockpiles
• Equipment Maintenance - Conducting pre-andpost-shift inspections of tires, lights, brakes, etc. to ensure vehicle health
• Safety Compliance - Strict adherence to MSHA andcompany safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents
• Communication - Using two-way radios to communicate with management and other team members

Requirements and

Qualifications:

• Experience - previous experience operating heavy mining/construction equipment is required
• Physical - ability to sit for long periods, handle vibration, and withstand outdoor elements (extreme weather)
• Skills - Strong spatial awareness, attention todetail, and ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• This is a full-time position, often involving long shifts (10 - 12 hours)
