position overview

we are seeking a highly skilled fleet coordinator to join our fleet & delivery team to support the efficient management of our fleet assets and programs. The ideal candidate will work closely with our fleet management partners and cross-functional teams to oversee asset procurement, licensing and registration compliance, and fleet maintenance programs, while ensuring operational effectiveness and supporting the success of our delivery business.

this role will be a hybrid postion - 1-day per week in office, based out of our headquarters in roswell, ga.

roles and responsibilities:
  • manage the asset database for 3,000+ vehicles and equipment fleet across 350+ branch locations
  • manage the annual registration and renewal process for our current fleet via oversight of our 3rd party vendor, including integrating all new acquisitions
  • manage vehicle maintenance programs and processes for our current fleet via our company fleet management information system (fmis)
  • lead onboarding and adoption of fleet r&m software by training users, promoting best practices, and driving consistent execution across the organization
  • serve as the primary resource for field associates and drivers regarding fleet-related inquiries and support needs, including procurement, registrations, maintenance, and dot compliance
  • independently execute project assignments focused on enhancing customer value and improving fleet asset visibility
  • participate as an active member of the management team in long and short term asset planning to achieve organizational goals and objectives
  • analyze fleet capacity and utilization trends to align assets with operational demand and support business needs
  • partner with stakeholders to assess operational requirements and determine optimal vehicle and equipment specs
  • support additional responsibilities including due diligence process for new acquisitions, capital ordering, and equipment tracking
skills we are seeking
  • 4-year degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in fleet management and/or asset management.
  • familiarity with holman fleet management, fleetio, and other fleet management programs
  • advanced skills in excel and the full suite of microsoft office products.
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • some general knowledge of dot and fmcsa regulations.
  • excellent communication, organizational, and vendor relationship management skills.
  • ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • a track record of providing superior customer service and exceeding expectations.
  • proven ability to communicate across multiple levels within an organization.
