The facility features a 23-bed emergency department with Level 3 trauma capabilities and Pediatric Level 1 designation, ensuring quality care across all age groups.

Physician - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

• Provide emergency medicine coverage for both day and night shifts

• Shift times: 7a-7p & 7p-7a with primary focus on night coverage needed

• Handle approximately 40 patient encounters per shift in 23-bed emergency department

• Level 3 trauma facility with Pediatric Level 1 designation

• Board certification required (minimum Board Certification Eligible)

• Required certifications include ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS

• Must maintain active New Mexico medical license (IMLC not accepted)

• Must be enrolled in NM Patient Compensation Fund (PCF) for COI requirements

• 24-hour support services available:
Anesthesia, General Surgery, Laboratory, Orthopedic Surgery, and Radiology

• Facility includes L&D department with newborn deliveries received in ED

• Credentialing timeframe approximately 99 days

• Provider must be contracted with agency prior to bidding

• All credentialing documents must be submitted by onboarding coordinator deadline

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
