Admissions Services hours are from 8am-6pm Monday-Thursday, and 8am-5pm Friday. Individual schedules will be determined by the employee and supervisor; employees will not be required to work more than 40 hours per week without prior notice.
- Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Testing Center, including scheduling, staffing, and service delivery. Help develop, update, and implement policies, procedures, and testing schedules in coordination with the supervisor to meet institutional and agency requirements.
- Maintain the integrity and security of the testing environment. Communicate policies and procedures to students, faculty, staff, and the community.
- Coordinate and oversee test proctoring services for DACC departments, external certification agencies, and other academic institutions.
- Administer, proctor, score, and transmit results for all tests offered through the Testing Center.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, college, and testing agency policies regarding confidentiality and security of testing records, including FERPA adherence.
- Maintain and secure testing materials by performing regular inventory, ensuring secure storage, and returning test materials to appropriate agencies.
- Maintain documentation, ensure compliance with third-party testing standards, and respond to vendor inquiries regarding technical or quality issues. Monitor and update candidate eligibility and testing scores through national and state tracking systems.
- Act as a liaison with the Department of Education GED Office.
- Train new employees in GED/HiSET, TOEFL, CLEP for certification.
- Track and analyze testing data, including the number and types of tests administered. Prepare monthly and annual reports and provide the supervisor with recommendations for program improvements.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to remain current with best practices in testing and certification standards. Support college initiatives related to graduation, recruitment, and retention efforts.

Special Certification/Licensure: Must be able to obtain NMSU Driver's permit within 6 months of hire.
