- Provide technical engineering support and perform field investigations for the Transportation Department
- Assist the Project Manager and/or Transportation Engineer in reviewing and resolving project design issues
- Perform field investigations of roads and intersections for signage, pothole and erosion control issues
- Pilot drones to film and photograph construction projects
- Assist with development plan reviews related to transportation issues
- Conduct GIS analysis of transportation related issues
- Prepare or review intersection improvement, signalization and signing and marking plans
- Assist in conducting speed studies, stop warrants for intersections and accident analysis
- Communicate with supervisor and other departments to coordinate work activities
- Requires Associate’s degree in engineering design
- One (1) year of experience utilizing CADD in engineering design
- Possess and maintain a valid Georgia Driver’s License
- Possess and maintain an FCC part 107 Remote Pilot license
- Knowledge and application experience in ArcGIS and AutoCADD, InRoads or Micro Station required
Demonstrates expertise in engineering design and technical support for transportation projects, with proficiency in CADD, GIS analysis, and drone operation for project documentation.
