The Director of Quality Management and Regulatory Compliance (QMRC) is responsible for planning, administration, and monitoring of consistent readiness of all quality management, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement processes. The Director of QMRC will oversee and coordinate all hospital efforts to monitor and maintain compliance with all regulatory, State, Federal government, and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization standards. The position reports directly to the CEO.
Plans, coordinates and administers human resource strategic planning and all personnel related programs.
Will have oversight for the following departments:
Acute Care, Medical Staff, Risk Management, Quality, Infection Control.
Experience:
- Minimum of five years in an acute care facility and demonstrates a clear working knowledge of general hospital operations, TJC, OSHA, Medicare COP, and state requirements.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in Quality Management required.
- Must have coordinated TJC preparation and participated in State and CMS surveys within past three years.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or other health care related degree.
- Master’s preferred
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in New Mexico.
- RN/JD, CPHQ. CPHQ, CPHRM and master’s preferred
