Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Roswell, New Mexico.
Start date:
07/06/2026. Duration:
Weeks. Shift: 4x12 Nights. Weekly pay: $2,098–$2,190 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Work setting:
Hospital, Emergency Department unit serving a broad patient population from Neonates to Geriatrics. This role requires night shifts with weekend coverage every other weekend and self‑scheduling within the ED team.

Weeks - Shift: Nights, 4x12
- Start date:
07/06/2026 - Unit: ED (adult/pediatrics); self‑scheduling; weekend coverage every other weekend; orientation 24 hours
- Deliver ED nursing care to patients across the full age spectrum, from neonates to geriatrics, including triage and ongoing monitoring.
- Provide care for ventilated patients and airway management, including BiPAP/CPAP as indicated.
- Administer IV therapies, vasopressors, and blood products; oversee arterial and central line management.
- Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases; perform associated clinical decisions and interventions.
- Support trauma and neuro‑trauma cases; conduct procedural sedation monitoring; perform phlebotomy and initiate IV access as needed.
- Document thoroughly in Epic; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams; may float to like units within scope with brief orientation.
- Active RN license; NM or Compact license accepted (pending NM/Compact licensing may be considered; must be obtained prior to start).
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS;
Additional listed certifications: CPI, TNCC. - Experience:
3 years ED experience preferred; 1st‑time travel accepted; previous charge nurse experience required; patient‑ratio experience 1:4; community hospital experience preferred;
Epic charting experience required. - Other:
Ability to work nights and every‑other weekend; self‑scheduling; pre‑approved time off (1 day) must be listed at submittal; may need to float to similar units as needed with brief orientation.
