As an Advanced Practice Provider II, you will be a trusted partner for patients and families throughout their treatment journey, helping guide care, answer questions, and support patients during some of the most important moments in their lives.

What You’ll Do- Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic health conditions
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor ongoing care
- Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic test results
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the care team
- Prescribe medications and help manage symptoms throughout treatment
- Provide continuity of care across the patient’s cancer journey
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and care plans
- Serve as a clinical mentor for Advanced Practice Providers, nursing staff, residents, fellows, students, and other healthcare learners
- Contribute to a team culture focused on excellence, compassion, and continuous learning

Required Education and Experience
Nurse Practitioner Educational Path:
NOTE:
As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or other national certifying body recognized by Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) within nine (9) months of their appointment to this title as required by Medicare.
