Schedule
- Shift: Nights
- Shift options: 36 or 48 hours per week
- Weekend requirement:
Every other weekend; 12 weekend shifts per contract
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year L&D experience
- Required certifications: BLS, NRP
- Charting experience:
Epic required
- Patient ratio experience: 3:1
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide labor and delivery care, including vaginal delivery and cesarean support/recovery.
- Deliver couplet care and support mother-baby care, as well as triage obstetrical patients.
- Conduct newborn assessments, including thermoregulation and hypoglycemia management.
- Assist with breastfeeding/lactation support and common newborn postpartum procedures.
Compliance / Notes
- Fingerprint/background checks are required for travel contracts.
- Must have NM/Compact licenses prior to start.
- Max of 4 days RTO can be auto-approved.
- Orientation modules to be completed onsite; estimated RN module time is 4–6 hours.
