Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced registered nurses for night shift Labor and Delivery assignments. This role involves providing high-quality maternal and neonatal care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor labor and delivery processes to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Administer medications and perform clinical assessments as prescribed by physicians.
• Assist with fetal monitoring and respond to any immediate clinical needs during labor.
• Educate patients and their families on postpartum care and newborn procedures.
• Document all patient interactions and clinical activities accurately in electronic medical records.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with relevant state licensure.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
• BLS and NRP certification required.
• Ability to work night shifts, including every other weekend.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient communication skills.
• Willingness to float within scope and adapt to different units as needed.
