Construction Material Testing seeks laboratory technicians to turn field samples into the numbers projects run on. You will perform Proctor curves, sieve analyses, Atterberg limits, moisture contents, and compressive strength breaks, all within a documented AASHTO R18 quality system.
Pay ranges from $25 to $35 per hour with overtime during busy seasons; most work is daytime at the lab, with occasional field sampling support when schedules require extra hands.
