Security Guard

We are seeking a dependable, observant, and professional individual to help maintain a safe and secure environment for people, property, and assets. The ideal candidate is attentive to detail, communicates clearly, and responds calmly and effectively in a variety of situations. This role is an important part of supporting a secure, welcoming, and well-managed workplace.

• Monitor assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and maintain a safe environment.
• Conduct routine patrols on foot or by vehicle, as required.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, incidents, and policy violations.
• Verify access to restricted areas and assist with entry procedures when needed.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies according to established procedures.
• Complete accurate incident reports and maintain daily logs.
• Provide courteous assistance to employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Work closely with supervisors, site leadership, and emergency personnel when necessary.
• Follow all company policies, post orders, and safety guidelines.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous security, safety, customer service, or related experience is an asset.
• Ability to remain alert, professional, and composed during routine and high-pressure situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic report-writing and recordkeeping skills.
• Ability to walk, stand, and perform patrol duties for extended periods, as required by the site.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on operational needs.
