Licensed Electrical Contractor

Elwood Staffing has partnered with a company that operates a large-scale indoor production facility & serves customers throughout the Southwest. The company combines manufacturing, construction, & skilled trades to support the production of modular residential structures.

Licensed Electrical Contractor Details:

  • Direct hire position
  • $ 80,000.00 to $ 85,000.00 / annually
  • Full time work available
  • First shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 04:00pm)

Licensed Electrical Contractor Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical installations for residential, modular, commercial, & construction projects.
  • Install, repair, maintain, & troubleshoot wiring, circuits, panels, disconnects, lighting, receptacles, switches, & other electrical equipment.
  • Read & interpret blueprints, electrical plans, schematics, & construction drawings.
  • Install & terminate conduit, conductors, panels, breakers, grounding systems, & other electrical components.
  • Ensure all work meets National Electrical Code (NEC), New Mexico requirements, & local jurisdictional codes.
  • Coordinate electrical permits, inspections, & approvals as needed.
  • Test & inspect completed electrical systems for proper operation, quality, & code compliance.
  • Supervise electrical personnel or subcontractors when assigned.

Licensed Electrical Contractor

Qualifications:

  • Current New Mexico Electrical License appropriate for the work being performed.
  • Proven residential, modular, commercial, or construction electrical experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, installation, & troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read & interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and construction drawings.
  • Comfortable using electrical testing & diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to work independently & make sound decisions in the field.
  • Strong communication skills when working with management, inspectors, subcontractors, & other trades.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen (excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
