Mechanical Service Engineer

Kingston Barnes is recruiting for a Mechanical service technician/Mechanical service engineer for one of our engineering clients. With a fantastic starting salary up to £36,500 and the potential to earn even more with door-to-door OT rates, this is a great opportunity.

The Role:

The right candidate will be responsible for servicing, installing and troubleshooting machinery. The role requires a skilled experienced mechanical fitter/technician who can work from mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities include:

* Undertake mechanical service/fitting on customer sites

* Respective site work is carried out to a high standard

* Ensure all documentation is completed promptly

* Ensure effective communication with customers and internal contacts at all times

* Manage expense and mileage budget efficiently

* Core hours are 7.00 – 3.30.

The Candidate:

* Mechanical service/fitting background

* From Medium/Heavy industry

* Mechanical engineering qualification

* Welding experience ideal

* Commutable to Rotherham
