Electrical Maintenance Technician

£55,352 - £58,000 per annum inc shift allowance, AM PM Nights weekly rotation, Rotherham, Permanent position.

We have an exciting new opportunity to join our world-renowned client as an Electrical Maintenance Technician on a full time, permanent basis. • Preform planned preventive maintenance, fault diagnostics and attend to breakdown repairs on all plant machinery.
• Identify issues and repair intricate electrical systems such as PLCs, HMIs and SCADAs.
• Implement proactive maintenance programs to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Maintain furnaces and machinery in accordance with established maintenance schedules and standards.
• Ensure maintenance documentation is current, complete, and compliant with operational requirements.
• Liaise with engineering, production and the quality departments so operational targets are met.
• Execute the installation, inspection, servicing, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting fixtures, and VFDs.
• Commit to regularly evaluating and enhancing operations to achieve continuous improvement.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to.

• Apprentice trained in Electrical Maintenance (desirable).
• Hold a basic understanding mechanical engineering.
• Previous experience with high temperature furnaces and PLCs.
• Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Great understanding of ISO
  9001 and AS9100.

• Generous salary £55,352 - £58,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
• 3 shift pattern of AM / PM and Nights rotation (AM Mon – Thu 6am – 2pm; Fri 1pm – 10pm; PM Mon – Thur 2pm – 10pm; Fri 1pm – 9pm; Nights Sun – Thur 10pm – 6am)
• Training will begin on days / AM PM shift rotation.
