Lead Geotechnical Driller (Rotherham) – Salary: £32,000 - £40,000
Responsibilities- Operate and maintain drilling and sampling rigs, including window sampling and dynamic probing equipment.
- Collect accurate soil and groundwater samples in accordance with industry standards.
- Record site data, sample depths, and ground conditions clearly and precisely.
- Carry out daily safety checks and basic maintenance on rigs.
- Work closely with technical staff to deliver projects safely and efficiently.
- Be willing to travel and stay away from home when required (expenses paid).
- Proven track record in geotechnical or environmental drilling.
- CSCS card (essential).
- NVQ Level 2 in Land Drilling or equivalent (preferred).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Commitment to safe working and flexibility to work across multiple sites.
- Live-in or near Rotherham.
- Excellent pay (£32,000 - £40,000) and overtime rates.
