Reinstatement Operative ut the role As a Reinstatement Operative at Lanesgroup, you will play a crucial role in restoring surfaces and ensuring that our work sites are returned to their original condition after maintenance or construction activities. - Execute reinstatement activities on various surfaces, including asphalt, concrete, and paving, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to assess project requirements and develop effective reinstatement plans.
- Operate specialized machinery and tools safely and efficiently, adhering to all operational guidelines and safety protocols.
- Conduct site inspections to evaluate the quality of reinstatement work and identify any areas that require additional attention or correction.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including materials used and time spent on each task, to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Assist in the preparation of work sites by clearing debris and ensuring that all necessary materials are available before commencing reinstatement activities.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns or questions they may have regarding the reinstatement process.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Support the implementation of health and safety measures on-site, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with other departments, such as planning and logistics, to ensure that reinstatement activities are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the reinstatement process, demonstrating problem‑solving skills and adaptability.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by fostering open communication and collaboration among colleagues.
- Proven experience in reinstatement or a related field, with a strong understanding of surface restoration techniques.
- Familiarity with operating machinery and tools used in reinstatement work, including compactors, saws, and mixers.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction and reinstatement activities.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness and stamina, as the role may involve manual labor and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- A valid driver's license is essential for travel to and from job sites.
