Care combines technology, empathy, and innovation to create meaningful impact in people’s lives.
The person who makes everything else possible.
Care work runs on people who notice what needs doing before anyone asks. e, that’s the Office Manager — the one who keeps the place running so everyone else can do the work they came here for.
It’s not a background role. You’ll be the first person visitors meet, the one new colleagues turn to in week one, and the reason things simply work.
What you’ll do
- Run the daily rhythm of the office: supplies, facilities, suppliers, and the hundred small things that add up to a place people like coming to.
- Keep our administration tight — contracts, invoices, records, and the paperwork that care organisations can’t afford to get wrong.
- Support onboarding, so new colleagues arrive to a working laptop, a clear first week, and someone who knows their name.
- Coordinate agendas, meetings, and travel where it helps, and organise the moments that make a team feel like one.
- Be the connection between teams, management, and outside partners — spotting friction early and fixing it.
- A few years in office management, coordination, or a comparable role where you owned the details.
- Organisational instinct: you build order without needing to be told what to organise.
- Warmth and discretion in equal measure. You’ll handle sensitive information and stressed colleagues, sometimes on the same afternoon.
- Comfort with systems and tools, and the willingness to improve the ones that aren’t working.
