Risk Manager/Analyst
You will join Robeco’s Global Procurement, Third‑Party & Facility Management department, a key part of our Operations domain. Our mission is to enhance financial resilience, operational efficiency, and sustainability by managing critical resources, vendor relationships, and workplace services across the organization. The department consists of four interconnected teams:
Procurement, Third‑Party Management, Sustainable Operations, and Facility Management. Together, we act as a strategic partner to the business, enabling growth while safeguarding compliance and corporate values. We work closely with global stakeholders and external vendors on initiatives that impact the entire organization. - Lead third‑party risk management for Market Data and Investment Research providers, including setting up internal and external governance structures.
- Monitor and assess third‑party vendor performance, risk, and resilience; report incidents that may impact operations or reputation.
- Oversee contract management.
- Act as the first point of contact for third parties regarding incidents, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and other relevant regulations, as well as internal policies and standards.
- Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders on market data risks, trends, and vendor innovations.
- Train and educate internal stakeholders on third‑party management, risk monitoring, and vendor management.
- Drive innovation and co‑creation with strategic and/or key third‑party vendors to enhance resilience and deliver business value in line with Robeco’s strategy.
- Promote the effective use of technology, including AI, within TPM processes.
- Mentor junior team members through thought leadership and best practices.
- Proactively identify process improvements and employ continuous improvement initiatives.
- At least 6 years of experience as a Vendor Manager or Third‑Party Risk Manager, preferably in the financial services industry and with exposure to Market Data and/or Investment Research providers.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of the market data vendor landscape, including operational, licensing, and regulatory risks.
- Proven hands‑on experience in third‑party monitoring, including due diligence, assurance report assessments, risk analysis, and performance monitoring.
- Strong familiarity with applicable laws and regulations (e.g., WFT, MiFIDII, AIFMD, DORA) and ability to demonstrate compliance.
- Strong analytical and solution‑oriented skills, with a proactive approach to improving processes through technology and innovation, including AI.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and supplier negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
