Position: Product Manager (patient platform)

Take ownership of the core internal platform that powers the entire Wellis patient journey — from intake to prescription to fulfillment. Use product thinking, data, and cross-functional collaboration to make our operations more efficient, compliant, and ready to scale.

Introduction

The patient platform is the heart of the Wellis journey — the internal backend that enables our medical, pharmacy, and operations teams to deliver care smoothly and compliantly. As Wellis grows, this platform is becoming more critical, more complex, and more regulated — and right now we need clearer focus, ownership, and direction. That's why we're looking for a Product Manager Patient Platform to define the vision and roadmap, and drive execution from idea to release.

You'll translate real workflow needs into scalable product solutions, reduce manual work through smarter processes, and ensure everything we build meets the highest standards for security and healthcare compliance.

About Wellis

Wellis is a fast-growing healthtech scale‑up that is reinventing one of the most traditional sectors: healthcare. What started just three years ago has already grown into a company with tens of thousands of customers, and we are only at the beginning. By combining medical expertise with technology and data, we make healthcare smarter, more efficient, and more personal.

Our mission is to improve everyday lives by making care accessible, personal, and seamless. Through our platform, people can take control of their health journey with trusted medical support, smart digital tools, and tailored programs. We move fast, challenge conventions, and build solutions that truly make an impact, because we believe better healthcare should be within everyone's reach.

About the Role

As a Product Manager Patient Platform, you'll own the vision, roadmap, and execution of Wellis's internal patient platform — the operational heart of the Wellis journey. You'll bring focus and ownership to a complex, highly regulated environment, translating real workflow needs into scalable product improvements. Working closely with engineering, medical, pharmacy, operations, and compliance stakeholders, your job is to reduce manual work, remove operational blockers, and build a secure, compliant platform that enables Wellis to scale across European markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the strategic vision and product roadmap for Wellis's internal patient platform — the core system powering clinical, pharmacy, and operational workflows.

  • Translate business goals and day‑to‑day needs from internal teams into clear, prioritized product requirements and user stories.

  • Drive cross-functional alignment with Medical Operations, Pharmacy, Operations, Customer Care, Legal/Compliance, and Tech to reduce manual work and increase process efficiency.

  • Define and continuously improve key backend workflows such as patient intake, medical review, prescription processing, and fulfillment coordination.

  • Use data, platform analytics, and structured feedback loops to identify bottlenecks, quantify impact, and prioritize improvements.

  • Ensure platform development aligns with regulatory and security requirements (e.g., IGJ, GDPR, pharmacy compliance) and supports scaling across European markets.

  • Partner closely with the CTO and engineering team to balance feasibility, scalability, and speed — and to ship high‑quality platform improvements.

  • Own and report on platform KPIs (e.g., manual processing time reduction, critical issue volume, internal user satisfaction) and communicate progress to leadership.

Who You Are
  • Bachelor's or Master's level education.

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner for back‑office platforms/systems, preferably in healthcare or another highly regulated environment.

  • Strong at translating business goals and user needs into a clear product vision, roadmap, priorities, and well‑defined requirements.

  • Data‑informed and outcome‑driven;

  • Comfortable working with engineering on technical feasibility, scalability, and security, and making pragmatic trade‑offs in a scale‑up environment.

  • Experienced collaborating daily with medical, pharmacy, operations, and other…
