A Day in the Life

As a Pricing Specialist you manage the accurate and timely execution of the price uploading and necessary troubleshooting. You will be responsible for ensuring excellence in pricing management across multiple businesses within Europe.

You collaborate with the Commercial (Marketing) managers and the sales team to collect the required information to support pricing excellence improvement management process. Furthermore, you will work in close cooperation with other members of the department, and also interface with relevant business staff.

Responsibilities & accountabilities:

  • Coordinate the process for monthly price calculation, preparation, and maintenance of the price upload files and price master files
  • Good technical knowledge and expert navigation of tools for performing work (FIORI, SAP, Celonis, etc.)
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders (Customers if applicable, Commercial, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.) and build an effective network while communicating effectively with them
  • Support sellers with the input of information required for Fiori uploads, pre‑populating data fields
  • Investigate and resolve pricing questions and errors in cooperation with main stakeholders (Sales, Credit, Master Data, VAT, Sales and Marketing). Include any relevant Credit/Debit administration support and root cause analysis
  • Quality troubleshooting with corrective action development. Develop and implement error checkers and other tools that optimize data quality as required
  • Research, coordinate and provide pricing knowledge and expertise to respond to Accounting, Internal and External Control audit compliance
  • AM Pricing file: creation, correction, updates, upgrades, onboarding
  • Support run, compile, analyze and distribute the Pricing dashboard including missing prices, material gross
  • Keep FIORI information updated according to real role assignments (to collect info on regular basis, understand the process and implement mass updates as well as single changes)
  • Organize and facilitate trainings for team members and new employees
  • Support the execution of the monthly SOX pricing accuracy control (investigate and resolve pricing questions and errors)
  • Price correction support
  • Backup pricing team activities when needed
  • Support to drive further digitalization of Pricing Management with enabling tools like Salesforce, Advanced Analytics and future AM Portals, SAP, Celonis, etc.
You Bring This Value
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain. A master’s degree is considered a plus
  • About 1 year of experience in Pricing, Credit or Customer Service is preferred (recent graduates are welcome to apply)
  • Strong skills in spreadsheet handling, use of functions available in Excel (SAP experience is considered a plus)
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are highly desirable (German, French, Italian preferred)
