Business Controller (Opex) at Vopak Terminal Europoort

• Hybrid work possible (Vopak Europoort Terminal)
• Gross annual salary €74,000–€102,000, depending on knowledge and experience

• Financial assessment, reporting and governance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align financial goals with business objectives.
• Support financial control processes and ensure compliance with IFRS and Vopak accounting guidelines.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, coordinate forecasting and ensure timely reporting.
• Manage the planning and reporting cycle of Finance & Control aspects.
• Monitor internal controls, ensure policy compliance and coordinate risk‑management activities.
• Identify key financial risks and opportunities, translate them into process improvement or value‑creation initiatives.

• Master in Finance or Business Administration (or nearly completed), preferably combined with a professional qualification in finance & control (e.g., CPA, CMA, RA, RC).
• 5‑8 years of relevant work experience.
• Broad knowledge of accounting and financial control, with demonstrable experience in reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Analytical ability to translate data into management information and continuously improve processes.
• Problem‑solving team player with excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
