Senior Consultant and Restructuring

Job Summary

Senior Consultant, Performance and Restructuring, helps under‑performing companies improve performance, restructure operations or finance, and navigate insolvency or M&A situations. Working with teams from junior to partner, you will engage clients, stakeholder banks, private equity and insolvency trustees.

• Advise Dutch and European companies on performance improvement, restructuring, refinancing, M&A and insolvency options.
• Develop turnaround and restructuring strategies for companies ranging from family businesses to listed multinationals.
• Engage directly with clients, stakeholders and internal PwC experts across Tax, Assurance and Deals teams.
• Contribute to all phases of restructuring processes to support professional growth.
• Maintain strong client relationships, especially in difficult financial circumstances.

• Master’s degree in finance, economics, business, law, or a technical field.
• Minimum two years of relevant work experience.
• Team player with a consultant mindset.
• Strong communication and listening skills; able to build relationships in challenging situations.
• Analytical mindset, curiosity, and comfort with uncertainty and change.
• Sense of ownership over client outcomes.
• Excellent English skills; proficiency in Dutch preferred.
