Role DescriptionThis role serves as a strategic finance partner to the supply chain function, focused on driving financial performance, efficiency, and cost optimization. It plays a key role in performance tracking, financial planning, and decision support in a complex and fast evolving environment. The position supports business growth through insights on cash flow, margins, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities- Lead performance management activities, focusing on cash delivery and working capital optimization
- Track key financial drivers including inventory levels, cost per unit, and gross margin
- Conduct monthly reviews with detailed analysis versus budget, forecasts, and prior performance
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for supply chain costs and overheads
- Provide financial insights and business partnering support to senior stakeholders
- Perform scenario analysis and financial modelling to guide decision making
- Translate financial data into actionable business insights and strategic recommendations
- Ensure compliance with financial governance, policies, and internal controls
- Drive continuous improvements in financial processes and reporting
- Support and develop junior finance team members through coaching and mentoring
- Strong experience in finance within supply chain or operations environments
- Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Advanced analytical and modelling skills
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights clearly
- Strong stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities
- Knowledge of working capital management and cost control strategies
- Experience with KPI tracking and performance management
- Familiarity with financial controls and governance frameworks
- Leadership skills with experience mentoring or guiding team members
- Proficiency in financial systems and data analysis tools
