Senior FEC Consultant

As our FEC Consultant, you identify excessive patterns such as money laundering or fraud in payment transactions between different bank accounts for our clients. As a consultant, you will work for one of our clients (think banks, insurers, and asset managers) and perform checks on a customer’s account using automated systems. You will be responsible for identifying, analysing, and reporting suspicious transactions.

• Complex Case Analysis:
  Lead and execute deep-dive investigations into high-risk client profiles and intricate transaction patterns, identifying potential money laundering, terrorist financing, or fraud that automated systems might overlook.

• Quality Assurance & Feedback:
  Act as a first-line reviewer for dossiers completed by junior analysts, providing constructive feedback to ensure all reporting meets both internal "Compliance Champs" standards and specific client regulatory requirements.

• Regulatory Advisory:
  Translate complex AML/CTF (Wwft) and Sanctions regulations into practical operational steps for the client’s project team, ensuring a 'First-Time-Right' approach in transaction monitoring workflows.

• Process Optimization:
  Proactively identify bottlenecks in the client’s automated monitoring systems or manual investigation processes and propose data-driven improvements to increase detection efficiency.

• Stakeholder Management:
  Serve as the primary point of contact for project leads at banks, insurers, or asset managers, reporting on project progress and defending findings during compliance committee meetings.
