Pricing Analyst Q8

Truck

Make an impact on pricing across Europe At Q8

Truck, we're shaping the future of transport. As a mobility partner for international transport companies, we combine a European network of more than 1,500 locations across 20+ countries with secure fuel card solutions and smart fleet services. Behind that network lies a complex pricing landscape, with thousands of price changes every month. As a Pricing Analyst at Q8

Truck, you'll make sure our prices are accurate, competitive, and aligned with market developments. You'll combine day-to-day pricing with analysis and continuous improvement. You'll monitor market developments, costs, and margins and translate changes into the right customer prices. Accuracy is critical in this role. Pricing decisions directly affect our customers and margins, so there is little room for error. You check the details, validate your work, and make sure every price is right.

At the same time, you'll look ahead. Where can pricing become smarter, more efficient, or less prone to error? Together with colleagues across Sales, Supply, Finance, and other teams, you'll help strengthen our pricing processes and contribute to further digitalization and automation.

Your biggest challenge

You combine precision with commercial insight. You closely monitor margins and market developments, proactively identifying deviations and investigating the underlying causes. You understand that accurate pricing goes beyond getting the numbers right: strong controls, compliance, audit readiness, and respect for EU Competition and Antitrust Law are essential to every pricing decision. While keeping today's pricing accurate and compliant, you continuously look for opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and support smarter pricing decisions for future growth and performance.

That means you'll take ownership of both daily pricing and the analysis behind it:
Manage and validate daily pricing across our European markets, keeping a clear overview of different countries, products, and price components. Follow market developments closely and translate changes in market quotations, excise duties, VAT, purchasing conditions, and other costs into the right customer prices. Analyse margins, rebates, and pricing deviations, understand what drives them, and take action when something doesn't add up.

Compare our pricing with market and competitor developments and turn your analysis into relevant insights. Support Sales, Supply, Finance, and other teams with pricing questions and provide the insights they need to make informed decisions. Prepare analyses and recommendations for the Pricing Committee and gradually take the lead in presenting them. Improve controls, reporting, and pricing processes to increase efficiency and reduce the risk of errors.

Identify opportunities for further automation and contribute to the development of smarter pricing tools and processes. You don't simply take information at face value. You verify it. You ask questions, challenge assumptions, and investigate deviations until you understand what's behind the numbers.

Qualification

You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Business Economics, Accounting, or a related field. You have 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in finance, pricing, controlling, or an analytical commercial role. You're highly skilled in Excel. Experience with Power Query and Power BI is a strong asset. Experience with SAP, ERP, or pricing systems is a plus. You work with a high level of accuracy and discipline.

You check your work carefully, spot inconsistencies, and understand the impact an error can have. You have strong analytical skills, work accurately, and keep a clear overview when the pressure rises. You have a strong sense of compliance and control and understand the importance of clear documentation and audit-ready processes. Knowledge of EU Competition Law or Antitrust Law is an asset.

You're motivated to build your knowledge further where needed. You enjoy combining recurring tasks with analysis and continuous improvement. You communicate fluently in English. Other European languages are an advantage. Experience in our sector is a plus. A background in e-commerce, retail, or another international environment can be just as relevant.
