Are you an experienced Compensation & Benefits, Reward, or employee benefits professional? Are you currently working as a Reward Manager, Compensation & Benefits Manager, Compensation & Benefits Specialist, Reward Specialist, Reward Consultant, or Compensation & Benefits Expert and ready for a new challenge within an international organization?

As a Senior Compensation & Benefits Specialist, you will be the subject matter expert for the Netherlands and Belgium. You will play a key role in further professionalizing our compensation and benefits policies, translating international guidelines into local solutions that support both employees and the organization. You combine strategic insight with a hands‑on approach and act as a trusted advisor to HR, Finance, and senior management.

What will you be doing?

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and implementing Compensation & Benefits policies across the Netherlands and Belgium. You will advise stakeholders at various levels and lead projects that contribute to a future-proof, attractive, and market-aligned rewards package.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing and shaping Compensation & Benefits policies for the Netherlands and Belgium.
  • Advising HR leadership, management, and other stakeholders on complex compensation and benefits matters.
  • Leading harmonization and integration initiatives related to employment conditions and benefits.
  • Managing the annual salary review and bonus processes.
  • Further developing job evaluation and job grading frameworks, including the Hay methodology.
  • Translating international guidelines into locally compliant and practical solutions.
  • Initiating and leading strategic reward and improvement projects.
  • Monitoring market developments, benchmark data, and compensation trends.
  • Collaborating with HR Business Partners, Finance, Payroll, and international stakeholders.
  • Coaching and supporting HR colleagues and the Shared Service Center on complex Compensation & Benefits issues.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements in processes, policies, and employment conditions.
What do you bring?

You are analytically strong, able to distinguish priorities from details, and capable of translating complex information into practical, well-founded advice. You thrive in an international environment where change and continuous improvement are key.

In addition, you have:

  • A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits.
  • Experience working within an international or matrix organization.
  • Experience with strategic reward projects, harmonization initiatives, or organizational change programs.
  • Knowledge of job evaluation systems, preferably the Hay methodology.
  • Knowledge of Dutch employment law, collective labor agreements (CAOs), and employee benefits.
