Commercial Manager

Position Overview

The Commercial Manager is responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy of Harbour & Voyage. This role includes identifying new business opportunities, optimizing business processes, and expanding the product and service offerings.

As part of the Management Team, the Commercial Manager contributes to strategic decision‑making of the company.

• Develop commercial strategies:
  Creating and implementing growth strategies to strengthen Harbour & Voyage’s market position.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop products or improve existing ones to expand product and service offerings.
• Acquire new customers and maintain existing customer relationships.
• Oversee creation and execution of marketing campaigns.
• Report progress and results to management.
• Lead and motivate the sales and marketing team.
• Prepare and manage sales and marketing budgets.
• Conduct contract negotiations with new and existing customers.

• Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide the team.
• Excellent analytical skills to identify and leverage market trends.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strategic thinking ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
• Focused on achieving commercial objectives and growth.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a commercial role, preferably within the maritime or Heavy Offshore sector.
• Fluent in Dutch, English, and possibly Spanish.
