Become a part of our international Sales & Business Development team at one of our locations in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. For the next possible date we are looking for you in full-time as Business Development Manager.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Cultivating relationships with clients from the area of renewable energy
- Collaborating on and supporting both inbound and outbound tenders
- Preparing, supporting and keeping track of the tender phases in order to bring the process to a successful close on time and in the best way possible
- Supporting and fostering business development activities for pre-identified, potential clients as well as creating new business opportunities
- Maintaining and expanding the assigned portfolio of regular clients
- Identifying and developing new client and business opportunities
- Analyzing and planning business potential within a region
- Collaborating on client negotiations and on implementing the contract for the client portfolio assigned
- Conducting general market research, including reports on results and objectives with the aid of the CRM system and other reporting processes within the company
What you can contribute:
- At least 5 years of experience in the business of project logistics
- Your outstanding ability to handle interest groups within a globally active company
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role in the area of sales and company development
- Excellent knowledge of the offshore wind market
- Excellent know-how of tender management systems
- Solutions- and results-centric way of working
- Strategic and analytical mindset
- Team player with a strong hands-on mentality and the ability to encourage engagement
- Excellent Dutch and English communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level of personal organization
- Willingness to frequently go on international business trips
