Trader – Perfume & Cosmetics

Overview  

The Role  As a Full-Cycle Trader, you are responsible for both sourcing (buying) and distribution (selling) of Perfumes and Cosmetics, including skincare, make-up, and haircare. You will manage your own P&L and have the autonomy to identify and capitalize on global market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities    Full-Cycle Trading:  Independently generate leads, source products, and drive sales within the beauty category.
P&L Ownership:  Full responsibility for your own turnover and profit targets.
Market Analysis & Pricing:  Monitor global price movements and stock positions to identify arbitrage opportunities.
Contract Management:  Negotiate and manage commercial agreements, ensuring smooth and successful trade execution.
Relationship Management:  Build and maintain a strong international network of suppliers and B2B customers through your own network, trade fairs, and international travel.
Candidate Requirements

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of proven experience in international trading (FMCG or Beauty is a strong plus).

Languages:

Fluent in English. Proficiency in  Chinese, Korean, or Japanese  is a strong advantage.
Technical

Skills:

Advanced skills in pricing models and market data analysis, preferably combined with AI-driven tools.
Mindset:  Highly commercial, results-driven, hands-on, and stress-resistant. You thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
