Account Manager NL/EN (M/F/X)
As an Account Manager, you grow and diversify relationships with a defined portfolio of customers. You will own the account strategy, drive profitable growth, and ensure an exceptional customer experience, with a focus on industrial clients in the electrical equipment, protection and control systems, and software domains.
Your main responsibilities are:
Own and execute medium‑to‑long‑term account strategies to increase share of wallet, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Develop retention and growth strategies for a defined portfolio of industrial clients; identify and convert recurring business opportunities.
Build and strengthen trust‑based relationships with decision‑makers and key influencers within customer organizations.
Coordinate end‑to‑end sales activities—from demand creation and opportunity shaping to proposal, negotiation, and closure.
Ensure timely and high‑quality issue resolution, maintaining an exceptional customer experience.
Forecast and track account performance (pipeline, revenue, margins); use insights to optimize priorities and actions.
Profile
Bachelor’s degree (minimum), preferably in a scientific or technical field (such as Electrical, Electromechanical, Electronic Engineering, or Industrial Engineering)
Minimum 5 years of experience in account management or solution sales within the energy, automation, or industrial electrification sectors.
Proven ability to drive growth with complex, multi‑stakeholder customers using solution‑based selling.
Strong commercial and analytical skills: pricing, forecasting, and contract negotiation.
Fluent in Dutch and proficient in English; additional languages are an asset.
