Are you a commercially driven professional with a "hunter" mindset and a deep understanding of the French market? We are looking for a Junior International Account Manager to join a thriving, global FMCG organization based in Rotterdam. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in expanding our footprint across the French retail and food service sectors, balancing the management of key strategic accounts with the excitement of identifying new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Growth:
You will partner with a Senior International Account Manager to oversee high-profile accounts, gradually taking full ownership of key relationships to drive turnover and profitability.
Market Expansion:
Proactively seek out new business prospects within the French retail and FSI channels, turning leads into long-term partnerships.
Business Planning:
Develop and execute robust business plans, monitoring sales performance and margins to ensure consistent growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, and Technical teams to ensure seamless execution and product distribution.
Market Intelligence:
Stay ahead of the curve by providing sharp market insights and competitive analysis to optimize our pricing and distribution strategies.
Fulltime position with salary range € 50- € 55 k gross per year, depending on experience. Requirements What You Bring Educational Background: A Master’s degree in Business or a related field.
Industry Expertise:
At least 3 to 5 years of experience in FMCG, specifically within Retail, B2B, or Food Service channels.
Linguistic
Skills:
At least C1 level mastery of both French and English. Knowledge of Dutch is a significant advantage.
Commercial Drive: A proven track record in account management and business development. You are solution-oriented, analytical, and possess a natural "commercial instinct."
Flexibility:
You thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing environment and are happy to travel internationally when the business requires it.
Technical Savvy:
Proficiency in MS Office is a must; experience with SAP is preferred.
Essentials: A valid driver’s license is required for this role.
