Summary of the role
We are looking for a Sales Manager - New Business based in Rotterdam/Amsterdam, to be part of our sales team. You will advise prospects and clients on meeting their communication objectives through the use of our services and platform. Engage stream has focused its sales activities on four core scenarios, namely Stakeholder Communication (Investor Relations), External & Internal Communication, Marketing Communication and E-learning.
Responsibilities- Revenue management: manage your own sales pipeline and convert opportunities successfully into revenue growth; responsible for creating and closing new business sales opportunities (including recurring) with existing and new clients, leveraging the value proposition of each SaaS product; convert qualified leads from marketing into new clients, write proposals and create contracts.
- Relationship management: establish contacts on a tactical and strategic level at executive level, including head of IR, marketing & communications, through networking; be seen as a trusted advisor; activate clients based on their needs & objectives to use webcasting strategically to achieve client success.
- Product & market development: build sector-oriented knowledge for various formats, identify market developments and translate these into sales activities (outbound).
- Client success: motivate clients based on requirements and objectives to use webcasting strategically; ensure optimum internal communication and identify cross‑selling possibilities.
- Administration: draft, follow up on quotations and manage contracts; ensure good internal and external communication to optimise service quality.
- Integrated and comprehensive value proposition: interact with internal Euronext and Engage stream stakeholders and ensure webcast value proposition is fully integrated with Corporate Solutions.
- Knowledge and experience of sales management in a corporate environment, excellent communication skills and experience as a contact at management level.
- At least 7 years’ commercial experience.
- Strong network within the financial market, communications and investor relations; advantage if engaged with corporate events such as CMDs, AGMs.
- Affinity with webcast, webinar and/or conference call communication.
- Preferably experience with B2B and IT sales.
- Demonstrable outstanding commercial skills, client‑focus mindset.
- Excellent communication, presentation, selling and negotiating skills.
- Strong self‑generation of leads, proactive mindset and out‑of‑the‑box thinking.
- Results‑oriented, hands‑on attitude.
- Team player with persuasion and perseverance.
- Fluent in English and Dutch.
