Sales Representative – Port Machinery

Report to:  Regional General Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced local sales professional to develop port machinery business for XCMG, covering reach stackers, empty container handlers, terminal tractors and port forklifts. You will directly engage terminal operators, container leasing firms, logistics parks and authorized distributors to drive sales growth in the local market.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain relationships with port terminals, logistics enterprises, equipment dealers and EPC contractors.

2. Conduct market research, track competitors (Kalmar, Konecranes, Sany Port Machinery etc.), collect project information and customer demands.

3. Prepare commercial proposals, participate in tendering, conduct business negotiation and follow up whole sales project cycle.

4. Coordinate with XCMG headquarters technical & after-sales teams for solution communication, delivery arrangement and spare parts support.

5. Complete annual sales target, promote new energy port equipment products.

6. Attend regional port & logistics exhibitions and industry seminars.

Requirements

1. Minimum 3 years sales experience in port equipment, container handling machinery or heavy material handling industry. Experience working within the container handling equipment sector is strongly advantageous.

2. Solid existing network with local port customers or equipment distributors. Familiar with local tender process and import regulations for heavy equipment.

3. Fluent Dutch language plus proficient business English.

4. Strong negotiation skill, capable of long-cycle large equipment project follow-up.

5. Willing to closely cooperate with China headquarters on pricing, configuration and order approval procedures.
